We know shipping from many perspectives! Birte Gevers, Jan Ritscher and Ulf Ritscher are heading the family owned shipping company in the 6th generation. We combine long term experience in ship finance with extensive expertise in shipping operation. All core processes are being led by the three siblings, philosophy and strategy are being developed and lived together. We are personally involved and are convinced that this is our advantage!
Birte Gevers: Before joining the family business, Birte was working at Hamburgische Landesbank, that time one of the largest ship financing institutes worldwide. 2004 Birte joined the family group and is heading Controlling, Accounting and Finance.
Jan Ritscher was employed with Hapag Lloyd and Peter Döhle prior joining the company in 1998. He is responsible for Technical Fleet Management, Operations and Insurance.
Ulf Ritscher was working for Hamburg Süd and Maersk Line. Before joining the family office in 2023 he was Technical Director at Zeaborn Shipmangement. He is heading HSQE, Digitalization and Projects within RGR.
